Delease Support Specialist (Contract)


 

Job Description:

This is a fixed term contract role till December 2025.

Job Objectives

The Jobholder, assist the manager to maintain customer’s A320 Fleet to the highest Operational Reliability and a standard Hangar Maintenance Check TAT (Turnaround time) in line with EASA, FAA (Federal Aviation Authorities) and CAAS Part 145 airworthiness requirements and in accordance with Airbus Technical Standards and FHS Financial interests. Mainly to support delease campaigns and subsequent daily operations and performance (Cost, Quality and Lead-time) of one or more FHS (Flight hours services) contracts provided to Airbus Customers.

  • Create reports for FHS activities related to the delease campaigns (Order processing, backlog of open orders, delivery of parts, good receipt confirmation by customers, installation & removal of parts by customers, return of core units…) in accordance with the contractual targets.

  • Track delivery performance (including collection of data and sometimes production of KPI - key performance indicator)

  • Daily communication with customers on their status of orders.

The Jobholder will work in a widely international environment, with colleagues in Europe (mainly Toulouse, France), and Asia (mainly Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia). The jobholder, a member of the Flight Hour Services (FHS) organization, based in Singapore, reports to the Head of Material Management & Warehouse in Singapore.

Job Responsibilities

  • Validate orders placed by customers by tallying against guidelines in place, and seek approval from manager for deviation to preserve pool integrity.
  • Consolidate and track out-of-scope orders to Programs for recharging to customers.
  • Request COD (Customer on demand) team to provide nomination of replacement units to meet average aging conditions, optimizing cost efficiency, and provide updates of delivery.
  • Monitor, track and liaise with MRO for core unit returns in order to fulfill open EOs raised in FHS portal for delease activities
  • Support materials team (FCO -FHS customer operations / AOG Desk / CSO - Customer support officer) to review nominated unit suitable to be served to the customer in order to fulfill re-delivery requirements with the Lessor
  • Focal point of contact for FHS components on delease with Customer(s).
  • Work with the Customer, to align and collaborate on processes and deliverables with Scoot Technical Services
  • Support Daily Maintenance Review meetings with Airline and MRO representatives on FHS spares
  • Any other duties as assigned by TSP Head of Materials

CONFIGURATION ENGINEER

  • Liaise with Planning, to jointly review and highlight OCCM (On-condition Conditioned monitoring) / HT (hard time) and LLP (life limited parts) listing to identify parts that do not meet customer’s re-delivery requirements with the Lessor
  • Tally individual OCCM / HT parts to have accompanying DFPs (Dirty finger prints) traceability in order to meet customer’s re-delivery requirements with the Lessor
  • Consolidate all FHS components average life on aircraft, and for units with inadequate information, perform calculation using approved documents to interpolate life.
  • Seek Customer acceptance for Proposed swapping / cannibalization of parts with / from a donor aircraft that fulfills re-delivery requirements with the Lessor, and follow-up with paperwork approval upon acceptance.
  • Liaise with other TSP stakeholders for OCCM / HT / LLP listings update upon completion of part swapping / replacement for final presentation to the Lessor

DELEASE PREPARATION

  • Collect from the Airbus FHS Customer Programme Manager and communicate to the different stakeholders of delease multi-functional teams, the following information:

    - contractual terms applicable to the delease campaigns

    - list of delease criteria (examples: % of DOM - Date of Manufacture, range of Flight Hours / Cycles, remaining life)

DELEASE OPERATIONS

  • Follow-up with customer for core units to be returned on-time (as per the contract)

  • Prepare weekly meeting with different stakeholders (TSP Planning team, TSP Material Management team, TSP Engineering, KUL COD - customer on demand team) to review:

    a, The possibility to swap parts (input: TSP Planning team)

    b. Average aging life of components (from TSP Engineering) to nominate replacement.

    c. The availability of parts in the Airbus FHS pools (FHS Delease manager)

    d. Back to birth records for Life-limited parts

    e. The nil stock situations and the subsequent potential purchase order or repair order that could be booked

Job Requirements

  • This is a fixed term contract role till December 2025
  • Minimum Diploma holder in Aerospace Engineering
  • Minimum 3 years of relevant experience
  • Maintenance environment experience is an advantage
  • Project management / continuous improvement skills
  • Ensure customer satisfaction, acting on relationship, collaboration and performance
  • Ensure compliance with Regulation, Airworthiness and Quality standards
  • Adhere with Ethics and Compliance directives and course fulfillment
