Roles & Responsibilities
Reporting to the Centre Manager of the newly opened REACH Senior Care Centre in Senja, the Care Staff will be responsible for the following key areas:
- Provide personal care assistance to the elders (clients) and ensure they receive the best possible care during their time in REACH Senior Care Centre.
- Assist the elders to take part in daily activities including serving meals to them and assisting them with toileting.
- Plan and conduct person-centered programmes to meet elderies' cognitive, social, and physical needs
- Maintain up-to-date documentation of clients' conditions and care treatments and provides inputs for the development and review of care plans.
- Ensure an efficient operation of REACH Senior Care Centre, along with keeping it as clean and tidy as possible.
- Responsible to ensure house rules are followed by clients and recommends measures to mitigate risk to the elder.
Requirements
- Minimum Secondary School certification
- Caring, patient, and willing in serving elderly clients
- Prior experience with caregiving duties in Hospitals, Nursing Homes or with individual’s parents would be advantageous
- Team player with great interpersonal communication and organizational skills
- Responsible and capable of working independently and under time constraints
Job Types: Full-time, Part-time, Permanent
Salary: $1,790.00 - $2,200.00 per month
